New Solid-Solutions of Substitution Strontium (Sr) for Lead (Pb) in Apatite Structure

Strontium substitution for lead in $\mathrm{Pb}_{(8-x)} \mathrm{Sr}_x \mathrm{Na}_2\left(\mathrm{PO}_4\right)_6$ was analyzed using XRD, SEM, and Rietveld refinement techniques. All samples were synthesized using ceramic and semi-ceramic technologies. Pure apatite was formed in the composition from $x=0.00$ up to $x=2.75$. The results indicate that the samples’ collected compositions agree with the values calculated.

DEVELOPMENT OF MAJOLIKA MASS COMPOSITIONS AND TECHNOLOGICAL PARAMETERS OF THEIR PRODUCTION ON ENERGY SAVING TECHNOLOGIES

The sintering regularities of the developed majolica masses compositions on the basis of typicalmass MKL-1 and MK-4K with the addition of broken glass and ceramic bricks wereinvestigated. Theinfluence of these sintering processes additives of the studied mass compositions depending on theircontent and firing temperature is established. A new method of decorating ceramics at the stage of its plastic state was developed. The obtained results will be used to improve the technological processesof obtaining decorative and applied ceramics.

Modification of Ceramics and Ceramic Glazers with Carbon Nanoadditives, and Properties of the Modified Materials

The work describes a method of modifying the ceramic materials by introducing carbon-based nanoscopic additives into the slip composite and glaze composite in the form of water-based suspension for the production of sanitary and technical ceramics of increased quality. Physical and mechanical properties of experimental samples are researched. The results of experimental research are obtained in the form of experimentally determined properties of composite materials which were nanomodified by carbon nanostructures.
