Taking in consideration the current context is an important requirement for knowledge based systems. The article discusses the application of context-sensitive decision support in the area of employment solutions providing. The research is based on employment area business process analysis which resulted in ontology construction. Next, the models for context representation are compared and models based on ontology and graphs are chosen for processing of contextual knowledge. Enhanced JDL model with specified context processing operations is introduced.

  The author analyses the structural and procedural tendencies in the development of knowledge connected with manifestations of the peculiarities in the modern development of cognition as well as tasks of modern education. The structural components of knowledge and the main interpretations of procedural tendencies of knowledge development are subject to analysis. There is a lack of interest in the analysis of knowledge constituents in contemporary English editions, although in the history of philosophy this issue is of great significance.

The article considered the effectiveness of evaluation employees competencies of enterprises. On the basis of the proposed measures for the development of employees competencies in the conditions of limited resources, an economic-mathematical model is proposed that involves solving various problems in improving the level of development of employees competences, which in turn affects on the level of the innovation activity efficiency of enterprises.

This article analyzes the processes of modernization of the national education system in the context of contemporary European integration of Ukraine. Based on the analysis of legal documents and thematic literature identified strategic objectives: comprehensive development of education, strengthening its impact on economic growth and living standards, promote the accelerated development of STP, and, above all, fundamental science, provide social functions of the state through the optimization of social programs.

Context-based methods represent an important part of toolkit used to build intelligent systems. In the article existent definitions of context for a system with a single decision making agent were discussed. Available formal models for context data representation and processing were compared. The approaches for different forms of reasoning within context were analyzed. Also the application of context awareness in systems with situation awareness is discussed. In the article unresolved problems and tasks in the domain of context aware computing are delineated.

The article analyses traditional philosophical topic – the correlation between knowledge and values. Based on this review, not only the author's version of the interpretation of values is provided, but their new division into the “dignitive” and “valuative" values. The main methods of the research are system-structural and comparative ones. The method of phenomenological analysis is used as well.

The article points out that the peculiarity of an enterprise conforming to the new economic conditions, is recognizing knowledge as a basic tool for creating competitive advantages, adoption and implementation of initiatives aimed at managing knowledge. The difference between the concepts of «knowledge» and «information» are specified. One of the features that distinguish knowledge from information is that knowledge depends on context and subjective conditions of its use; it is closely linked with the person while information may exist independently.
