Localization

The lost court of Franciszka Zhevuska on the Galician suburb of Lviv, located at the present-day 14-16 V. Vynnychenka Street, has been examined. This court is a classic example of suburb residences that were common on the territory of the former Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth in the 17th and 18th centuries. According to the register of 1768, there were approximately 110 courts in the suburbs of Lviv, but none of them has not been preserved.

Food security is the of the most important basic human needs. The sphere of agricultural production affects direct or indirect ways to the settlement system, density, socio-demographic parameters. It affect on typology and appearance of agricultural buildings and edifices also. In the past, the size of the city was limited by local food opportunities. Despite the increase in agricultural production every year, natural renewable resources are depleted faster than they can be restored. It is very likely that after 2050 the world ecological collapse may begin.

The paper tackles the problem of faithful rendering of the terms ‘parsing’ and ‘stemming’ into the Ukrainian language. Nowadays, the use of these terms is extended beyond the domain of applied linguistics. The authors believe that the Ukrainian equivalents proposed adequately convey the meaning of the English terms.

The mathematical providing of construction of models of determination of co-ordinates of sources of acoustic emission and algorithms of search of defects is offered. Description of layout of sensors charts is given.  The calculation formulas of determination of co-ordinates of spatial localization of sources of acoustic emission are offered. Procedure of non-destructive control and  technical diagnostics of metal of constructions is described.

Author considers the main problems connected with the question about the founding of an ancient city of Kievan Rus – Novgorod on Volkhov River. The reason for the reflections on this topic was the authors critical analisis of Yevgeni Nosov`s new publication. Also the author considers an important question of this city localization in the IX – X centuries. These questions are analyzed on the background of ancient chronicles messages.
