ML MODELS AND OPTIMIZATION STRATEGIES FOR ENHANCING THE PERFORMANCE OF CLASSIFICATION ON MOBILE DEVICES

The paper highlights the increasing importance of machine learning (ML) in mobile applications, with mobile devices becoming ubiquitous due to their accessibility and functionality. Various ML models, including Convolutional Neural Networks (CNNs) and Vision Transformers (ViTs), are explored for their applications in real-time classification on mobile devices. The paper identifies key challenges in deploying these models, such as limited computational resources, battery consumption, and the need for real-time performance.

Development tendencies and prospects for the activation of sales of entities in the insurance market of Ukraine

Research shows that during 2018–2021, positive changes were observed in the market of insurance products in Ukraine, although the number of insurance companies has constantly decreased in recent years. The conducted analysis enabled a trend toward the growth of net insurance premiums and net insurance payments in Ukraine.

Investigation of Wireless Pulse Oximeters for Smartphone-based Remote Monitoring of Lung Health

Coronavirus has the greatest effect on the human lungs. This is why lungs of patients with COVID- 19 require constant medical monitoring. One of the tools for the lungs condition monitoring is based on the wireless pulse oximeters connected to smartphones. There is an attempt to analyze the types of pulse oximeters, their technical characteristics, principles of operation and basic requirements for these measuring instruments in the article. According to this study, the most effective pulse oximeters for 24/7 monitoring of lung function were selected.
