The article examines the file system at the kernel level of the operating system. It addresses the primary issues related to personal data loss and protection and the general challenges of filtering content stored on users' computers.
Fractals occupy a rather important and defining place in computer graphics. This is the construction of landscapes, trees, plants, even animals and the generation of fractal textures, as well as fractal image compression. Modern physics and mechanics are just beginning to study the behavior of fractal objects. And of course, fractals are used directly in mathematics itself, as well as in cryptography when protecting images.
The object of the research is the security of the file system of a single-board platform. As part of the research reported in this paper, a method has been proposed to protect the file system using encryption. Implementing a Linux Unified Key Setup paired with a password or Universal Serial Bus key has been demonstrated. The advantages of Linux Unified Key Setup for this task and the possibilities for system configuration and encryption method depending on the use case and hardware configuration has been outlined.
