Theoretical analysis and experimental study of H2S dissociation processes in ultrahigh-frequency plasmotron

Theoretical analysis of aerodynamic conditions in a plasma chemical reactor with tangential gas supply is carried out. It is shown that due to the creation of a swirling flow in the reactor there is a pressure gradient, due to this along the vertical axis there is a vacuum zone, which contributes to the occurrence of plasma discharge.

Study of the intereaction of sodium tyocyanate with the mineral acids and investigation of the properties of received products

Hydrogen sulfide gases are formed in many technological processes, in particular, the processing of natural combustible fossil fuels. During the purification of coke oven gas containing cyanadium, from hydrogen sulfide by arsenic-sodic method, sodium thiocyanate is formed together with thiosulfate. Polymer sulfur, which is formed because of the acid decomposition of sodium thiosulfate, contains slightly soluble impurities. They aggravate its rheological properties and cause excessive high ash content of polymer sulfur up to 8%.

CLASSIFICATION OF METHODS OF GASES PURIFICATION FROM HYDROGEN SULFIDE

A large number of different methods is used in the industry for gases purification from hydrogen sulfide. Most of the early classifications of these methods are distinguished by the aggregate state of the sorbent. It is shown that such a classification does not fully cover existing industrial methods of purifying gases from hydrogen sulfide.

DETERMINATION OF WORKABILITY OF ZINC COATINGS IN CONDITIONS OF MECHANICAL STRESSES AND CORROSIVE ENVIRONMENT

For defense the constructions elements from corrosion on the Black Sea shelf are often used organic and inorganic coatings, and as well corrosion-resistant alloys, which makes it possible to use equipment in more aggressive environments, expanding the conditions for their applying. However, the protective properties of anti-corrosion coatings in media in the presence of hydrogen sulfide and the simultaneous action of mechanical stress is not sufficiently studied.
