To assess the trajectory of the socio-economic development of Ukraine, a sample of ten indicators was formed for the period 2012-2021: nominal GDP of Ukraine; GDP per capita; direct foreign investment; index of industrial production; consumer price index; foreign trade balance; freight and passenger traffic; average monthly salary; salary arrears.
This article provides a cluster analysis of the socio-economic status and development of districts in Lviv region for a period of five years. The indicators that have the highest impact on cluster formation are detected. The author proposes an approach which can serve as a basis for developing effective territory management tools based on statistical analysis of socio-economic indicators.
The article states that the reform of local self-government and territorial organization of power, is the creation of united territorial communities in Ukraine on the basis of decentralization, conceptual principles of which were approved in 2014, and practical implementation began in 2015, was among the most effective and significant proclaimed strategic reforms.
The analysis of the innovative activity of industrial enterprises in Ukraine and, particularly, in Lviv region in 2011–2012 is presented in the article. The investment activity in the domestic economy according to the International ratings is analyzed. The innovation potential of the Ukrainian industry is estimated. The factors affecting the state of innovative activities that has recently shaped in the Ukrainian economy are determined.
