Recent deformations of the Earth crust in the Berehove horst zone

On the basis of the analysis of many year extensometric observation results in the Beregove horst zone the following conclusion has been drawn: the Earth's crust compression axis is oriented perpendicularly to the spreading of the East Carpathians what is in agreement with actual hypothesis regarding the neotectonic progress of the Panontan basin.

State and prospects for development of geodynamic investigations in the Carpathians

Experience of geodynamic investigations in the Carpathian region is generalized. Analysis results of spatial-temporal peculiarities of the Earth's crust modern movements, seismic regime and variations of anomalous magnetic field are given Directions for further development of complex geodynamic investigations on "the Carpathian polygon are specified”.

Estimation of the Earth crust strain rate tensor from GPS observations data in the Eastern Europe

Estimated from GPS observations velocities of GPS-stations were used to obtain 2D-model velocities and strain rate field in the Eastern Europe. The study of the velocities field in the region was done in a few steps. The first one consists of the development of the finite element approach on the geosphere based on bicubic spline functions and least squares collocation method for the interpolation scattered GPS-data to the regular nodes. The second one represents the inversion of velocities from GPS-observations to the strain rate tensor.

Geodynamic model that seismic figure of Zakarpattya as a result of deformed researches

Purpose. The aim of the research is the analysis of integrated observations of parameters of physical fields in the CSG of Transcarpathia, the establishment of the space-time dependence of observable quantities, identify their characteristics and connections of these fields with the geodynamic situation in the region to build a geomechanical model of the system of Transcarpathia, the process of accumulation and release of energy of elastic-deformation processes.  Methodology.

The field of linear velocities and movements of the earth crust in the South Eastern Europe region

Coordinates and velocities of GPS-points in the South-East Europe were used to derive the 2D model of velocities and horizontal strain rate fields of the region (the territory of Ukraine, Bulgaria, Romania, Greece, Turkey and Iran). The first step of studies consists of the development of the finite element approach based on the bicubic spline functions for the building of the regular grid data via scattered geodetic network. The second one represents the inversion of velocities from GPS observations data to the strain rate tensor.
