Synthesis, Antimicrobial and Computational Studies of New Branched Azaphenothiazinones Derivatives

In a continued search for new medicinally active nonlinear phenothiazines, novel angular chloroazaphenothiazinone derivatives have been synthesized via transition metal-catalyzed cross-coupling reactions. The structural elucidation of the synthesized compounds was established by a combined spectroscopic and elemental analysis.

Biotechnological aspects of obtaining biologically active substances of Adonis vernalis

This article shows the possibility of using a biotechnological method to obtain biologically active compounds based on in vitro cultivation of callus cultures. The callus biomass of Adonis vernalis was obtained in vitro by using the biotechnological method. The extracts based on callus biomass of Adonis vernalis were obtained. The content of flavonoids and phenolic compounds was determined. The antioxidant activity of callus biomass of Adonis vernalis has also been studied.

OPTIMIZATION OF THE PROCESS OF EXTRACTION OF FLAVONOIDS FROM CALLUS BIOMASS OF ARNICA MONTANA

Medicinal plants contain many biologically active substances (BAS), which have a diverse influence on the human body and animals, so used for the prevention and treatment of diseases in medical, folk and veterinary practices. The current state of the environment in Ukraine does not allow the use of most plants as medicinal raw materials, so obtaining plants biomass in vitro is an alternative method. Advantages of the method can get a large amount of biomass, regardless of the season, environmental conditions and other factors.
