EXTRANEOUS DIFFUSION KINETICS OF AMMONIUM IONS ADSORPTION IN THE PRESENCE OF OTHER IONS

The article presents the results of the study of the kinetics of ions adsorption from multi-component mixtures. The isotherms of sorption of ammonium nitrogen in the presence of phosphates indicate a decrease in the exchange capacity of zeolite due to its competition for active absorption centres. This study was carried out with two ions of inorganic nature. In the presence of the third organic component in the solution (protein substance - albumin), the sorption capacity of zeolite decreases even more in comparison with ammonium ions.

INVESTIGATION OF THE PROCESS OF FLUORIDE IONS ADSORPTION BY NATURAL SORBENTS

A detailed analysis of literature sources on the content of fluorides in the environment, methods of conditioning and defluoridation of water was held. The mechanism of interaction of fluorides with zeolite in the process of adsorption treatment of wastewaters and domestic waters was clarified. It was first established that in the process of adsorption there is the formation of magnesium fluoride compounds due to the binding of cations extracted from the zeolite by the mechanism of ion exchange.

Kinetics of adsorption of phosphation by synthetic zeolites from coal fly ash

The purpose of this work was to study the process of adsorption of phosphate on natural and synthesized sorbents, such as aluminosilicates. The sorption properties of natural zeolite for phosphate under static and dynamic conditions were investigated. The zeolite on the basis of the coal fly ash of Dobrotvorskaya heat power plant was synthesized and modified. The equilibrium values of adsorption capacity were determined, and the corresponding isotherms were constructed at a temperature of 20° C. The kinetics of adsorption under mechanical mixing conditions was investigated.

INVESTIGATION OF CAVITATIONAL EXPANSION OF SODIUM HYPOCHLORITE UNDER ISOTHERMAL CONDITIONS

Liquid waste and wastewater, that contain hypochlorites, are formed during the production of chlorine and caustic soda; electrolytic production of magnesium and chlorine; in the production of pulp and paper products etc. Such wastewaters belongs to sub-standard, therefore they are not reused in corresponding technological processes. In accordance with the current normative documents, hypochlorite wastewaters must be disposed of at the local treatment facilities of the enterprises where they are produced.

Адсорбційне очищення стічних вод від пар

Adsorption of surfactants on varios types of adsorbent was experimentally investigated. Generalization of the obtained results of research and calculation data was carried out. Експериментально досліджено адсорбцію ПАР на різних типах сорбентів. Проведено узагальнення отриманих результатів досліджень та розрахункових даних.

Complex water treatment of agroindustrial complexes

The aim of this work was studying the process of phosphate adsorption on natural and synthesized adsorbents such as aluminosilicates. Sorption properties of natural zeolite concerning phosphates in static and dynamic conditions were investigated. It was found that phosphates were absorbed better in an acidic environment. Zeolites based on fly ashes of Dobrotvir heat power plant were synthesized and modified. The equilibrium values of adsorption capacity were established and the proper isotherms at a temperature 20 °C were built.
