Decontamination of Biological Agents in Wastewater through Synergetic Oxidative Methods as an Effective Approach for Safeguarding Public Health and Aquatic Ecosystems

We employed a highly concentrated model of wastewater to conduct our research, accurately mimicking the composition of wastewater generated by milk processing enterprises. Wastewater contained milk protein, carbohydrates, and whey sugars. Domestic wastewater, which served as a source of indicator fecal microorganisms, was added to them.

Comparative Study of Moringa Oleifera and Citrus Paradisi as Disinfectants and Coagulants for Water Treatment

The coagulant and disinfectant qualities of Moringa oleifera and Citrus paradisi were investigated on various water samples acquired from sachet water (packaged water), borehole water, river water and well water. The results revealed that Moringa oleifera functioned adequately at settling time beyond 2 h in highly turbid river water but was more effective when combined with Citrus paradisi. Moringa oleifera or its combination with Citrus paradisi is less effective for turbid water treatment but effective for river water (sample) purification.

Vibrocavitation decontamination of brewing yeast-containing wastewater

One of the promising ways to solve the problems of environmental safety is the creation of highly efficient methods of wastewater decontamination and destruction of organic compounds in them. The electromagnetic vibration cavitator was created to treat brewing wastewater. The efficiency of vibrocavitation treatment technology for the food industry was studied. The highest degree of decontamination from biological and organic contaminants was found to be provided by the combined action of vibrocavitation and related processing of gases, nitrogen in particular.

Інактивація бактерій роду diplococcus в атмосфері азоту і повітря

The influence of ultrasonic cavitation on disinfestation from bacterial genus Diplococcus in  the  atmosphere  of  nitrogen  and  air  has  been  investigated.  Based  on  experimental  data suggested  the  joint usage of ultrasound with nitrogen  flushing  is  the most effective agent  for purification of water.
