In today’s world, where technology is developing at an incredible speed, automated information collection systems have become an integral part of our lives. They affect various aspects of society, including subjective human rights. This impact can be viewed from several perspectives. First of all, it is the significant advantages of automated systems. Such information collection systems significantly increase efficiency and accuracy in many areas. They allow for the rapid processing of large amounts of data, which facilitates informed decision-making. This increases the efficiency of subsequent information processing. For example, in medicine, such systems help diagnose diseases, which can save lives. In the security sector, they help to identify potential threats and prevent crimes. Secondly, these are significant challenges to subjective rights. One of the main ones is the issue of confidentiality. The collection and processing of personal data can lead to a violation of the right to privacy. Security and freedom of expression are sometimes violated. People often do not know what data is collected and how it is used, which raises concerns about possible misuse of information. The use of AI in public and private surveillance systems, monitoring and analytical tools creates new challenges for international human rights institutions. There are cases where these systems have been used for mass surveillance, privacy violations, and discrimination. This makes it necessary to review current legal frameworks and mechanisms for the protection of human rights to take into account the challenges posed by the emergence of AI. The article explores how automated information gathering systems are changing the concept of important human rights in the digital age, and suggests possible ways to address this issue. It emphasizes the urgent need for people to be aware of their rights in the digital age.
