COMPARATIVE ANALYSIS OF METHODS FOR CUTTING SPUR GEARS BASED ON TECHNICAL AND ECONOMIC PARAMETERS

The results of the simulation and study of the process of cutting gears by the traditional method of hobbing and the new radial-circular method (RCM), which is carried out by a thin disk cutter, but in the conditions of continuous profile generation, as it is in gear cutting with a hob. It has been shown that due to the peculiarities of this process, its kinematics, and the structure of the disk cutter, RCM is superior to hobbing in all the parameters studied: volumetric productivity, chip thickness ratio, and cutting forces, machining time and machining costs.

RESEARCH ON THE CHARACTERISTICS OF GEAR-CUTTING PROCESSES FOR EXTERNAL AND INTERNAL MESHING USING THE POWER SKIVING METHOD

The results of modelling and investigation of external and internal gear-cutting processes using the power skiving method are presented. The principles of constructing a geometric model of undistorted chip formation are described, based on parameters from which cutting forces are calculated. It is found that, under identical conditions, the cutting force is three times greater when internal gears are cut than when external gears are cut. The influence of this force on the machining error is determined by the gear pitch parameter.

Power Skiving as a Modern Method of Cutting Gear Wheels and Features of Its Modeling

Aim. Analyze the state of the branch of new Power skiving technology, the limits of its rational use, its advantages and disadvantages, to form the main directions of development of this method of tooth cutting and optimization of the structure and geometry of its cutting tool. Method.

Experimental Improvement of the Technology of Cutting of High-pressure Hoses with Metal Braid on Hand Cutting Machine

In the article the review of the problem of improvement of technology of high pressure hoses cutting on the hand cutting machines is analyzed. Different methods of cutting of high pressure hoses into the billets are overviewed and the quality of edge cuts of hoses is analyzed. The comparison of treatment on automatic cutting machines and on hand cutting machines is carried out. Different experimental techniques of improvement of the quality of edges cutting of high pressure hoses are presented.

Study of the Cutting Force and Its Components in Radial-circular Cutting of the Gears

Analytical dependences are got for the calculation of cutting force by the new method of continuous disk milling cutting of gear-wheels. It is well-proven the theoretical conformities to law of cutting force are set on active blades and indents. A theoretical base for process control of cutting of gear-wheels is created.
