Modeling of dynamical regimes of two-motor electrical drives with due regard for elasticity and gaps of mechanical transducers

In the paper a mathematical model of two-motor electrical drive with one speed controller and two thyristor converters, by taking into account elasticity's and gaps of mechanical transducers, has been constructed. By using state-space methods, the transfer functions of the object have been determined. Some recommendations for tuning of the regulators have been suggested. Dynamical characteristics that are near to the optimal ones have been obtained by applying MATLAB.

Studying and forecasting of the phosphates pollution dynamics in watersheds and antropogenic water management landscape dynamics: application to the small carpathians rivers’ watersheds

The paper concerns the results of the quantitative study of dynamics for phosphates concentrations in the Small Carpathians rivers watersheds in Earthen Slovakia by using methods of nonlinear analysis and forecasting, chaos theory and dynamical systems. The conclusions can be viewed from the perspective of carrying out new algorithms for analysis and forecasting of the dynamics and evolution of anthropogenic water management landscape. Chaotic behaviour of the phosphates concentration time series in the watersheds of the Small Carpathians is studied.

Effect of elastic coupling dynamics start vibrating machines with debalance exciter vibrations

The run-up of a vibratory machine with an debalanced drive is examined. The influence of stiff coupling installed between an electric motor and a vibration exciter is taken into consideration. Practical recommendations to limit the starting deformations and coupling oscillations are shown.

Electromagnetic monitoring of environmentally problematic objects in Precarpathians: results and technological means used

Purpose. Designing both the apparatus and methodical means based on the classical methods of electroprospecting and their modification. Using this set for an elecromagnetic monitoring of environmentally problematic objects. The objects to be observed are ground dams, haloes of underground water pollution, mine fields, geotechnical objects. Methodology. High-speed technological set was created and had been studying in the environmentally problematic areas in pre-Carpathians (Yavoriv, Stebnyk, Kalush etc.).

Mass Exchange Dynamics During the Second Filtration Drying Period

The work is dedicated to theoretical and experimental investigations of kinetics and dynamics of filtration drying of capillary and pore materials, and mineral granulated fertilizers, in particular. The proposed physical model of a moist particle and the differential system of equations which describes heat exchange in the second drying period enables to determine the transfer velocity of mass-exchange zone in a dispersion layer of the material during filtration drying.

Effect of Nitrogenated Corrosion Inhibitors on the Growth and Ferment Activity of Sulfur Cycle Bacteria

The effect of industrially manufactured corrosion inhibitors (“G”, “K”, “L”, “M”, and “N” inhibitors) on the biological activity of thione (TB) and sulfate reducing (SRB) bacteria and corrosive microbial associations has been studied. SRB sensitivity to all the studied inhibitors has been established. The dynamics of hydrogenase reaction blocking under the action of the studied inhibitors as well as inhibition constants have been determined. Nitrogenated corrosion inhibitors are recommended to be used for protecting the subterranean metal structures from microbial corrosion.
