Display of the tectonic structure of the western region of Ukraine in the gravimagnetic fields

Purpose. The aim of this work is to trace large structural-tectonic elements within the Western region of Ukraine according to the characteristic signs of their manifestation in the anomalies of gravity and magnetic fields and the construction of regional tectonics schemes based on gravity and magnetometric materials. Methodology. The research method is based on a qualitative interpretation of the observed gravitational and magnetic fields.

Induction shrink fits for connecting disks and shafts

A complete model of the induction shrink fit between a disk and shaft is presented. The model consists of a proposal of appropriate interference, checking the von Mises stress in the disk and shaft, mapping of the process of induction heating and determining the release revolutions. The methodology is illustrated by a typical example.

A measuring system based on sensors of magnetic field and temperature with digital signal processing

The paper deals with the investigation of electro-physical properties of Si1-xGex whiskers; the possibility of their use as sensitive elements in magnetic field and temperature sensors is considered. The possible ways of improving the output characteristics of these sensors, particularly through the use of a measuring system with digital signal processing.

Study of the nature cavitation-magnetic effects on water and vibration equipment to change its properties

The article regards the definition of the energy charge of a big strained bubble which arises during vibrating hydrocavitation. A series of studies to determine the changes in water properties under the simultaneous effect of both, magnetic field and hydrocavitation, are carried out. The design of vibrating units of various technological purposes is proposed.

Mapping of Berezivska ring structure in the gravity and magnetic fields (southwest of Kolomyya paleovalley)

Purpose. The purpose of research is to identify the geological and tectonic nature complex morphology intensive gravimagnetic anomaly in the southwest Kolomiyskogo paleovalleys, which is located within the Precarpathians trough Ukrainian Carpathians. Methodology.

Matrix Polymerization of 2-Hydroxyethylmethacrylate in the Presence of Polyvinylpyrrolidone in Permanent Magnetic Field

The influence of a constant magnetic field on the polymerization kinetics and structural parameters of a hydrogel network on the basis of 2-hydroxyethylmethacrylate and polyvinylpyrrolidone compositions has been investigated. It has been shown that the magnetic field activates matrix polymerization of such compositions and assists in structure formation of copolymers with minor cross-link density. The efficiency of the developed polymeric materials used for production of ultrathin contact lenses has been confirmed.

Equipment for Magnetic-Cavity Water Disinfection

Push-pull vibratory electromagnetic cavitator of resonance action consists of two electromagnets, an elastic system connecting their stators and anchors, and two cavitation breakers located in the flowing liquid in the form of soundboards with holes which fluctuate in antiphase. High degree of biological disinfection of water with the productivity of approximately 3.5 m3/h at its continuous supply is provided due to the combination of magnetic and cavitation effects.
