INVESTIGATION OF INFLUENCE OF CONDITIONS OF OBTAINING PA6/MMT NANOCOMPOSITES ON THEIR THERMAL PROPERTIES

The influence of additional thermal and thermomechanical treatment of PA6/MMT nanocomposites obtained from the formic acid solution on their heat resistance and technological properties was investigated. Thermal analysis established that heating the nanocomposite to a temperature of 250 ºС and treating it on a capillary plastometer IIRT at a temperature of 230 ºС increases the degree of crystallinity and heat resistance of the samples.

Bitumen Production via Tar Oxidation in the Presence of Petroleum Resin with Fluorine-Containing Groups

The tar oxidation process has been studied at 523 K, air flow rate of 2.0; 2.5 and 5.0 h-1 and process time of 6, 9 and 12 h in the presence of 2.5; 5.0 and 7.5 mas % (to calculate for the raw material)of petroleum resin with fluorine atoms. The tar is the residue of black oil vacuum distillation obtained from the oils of Western-Ukrainian fields. The effect of process conditions on the characteristics of obtained bitumen has been determined. The structural-group composition of blown bitumen has been examined.

Polymer Composites on the Basis of Epoxy Resin with Mineral Fillers Modified by Tetraetoxysilane

Ultimate strength, softening temperature, and water absorption of the polymer composites based on epoxy resin (type ED-20) with unmodified and/or modified by tetraethoxysilane (TEOS) minerals diatomite and andesite are described. Comparison of experimental results obtained for investigated composites shows that the ones containing modified filler have better technical parameters mentioned above than composites with unmodified filler at corresponding loading.
