Assessment of Resource Provision of the Tourism Industry of Ukraine Using the Analytic Hierarchy Process

Purpose – The purpose of this study is to perform a multi-criteria evaluation of resource provision in the tourism sector of Ukraine using the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP), to determine the relative importance of key resource components, and to calculate an integral indicator reflecting the overall level of resource provision.

Determining the Importance of Factors in the Selection of Immersive Technology for Artworks Reproduction

This article explores the peculiarities of using immersive technologies in art. This sphere of human activity is not separated from all the changes that take place in the process of social informatization. As it is stated in the paper, the main information technologies that are commonly used by most art institutions and artists today are augmented reality and virtual reality, which offer a wide range of opportunities to implement their ideas. As for artworks presented in the form of paintings and exhibits, the use of augmented reality prevails here.

Integration of hesitant fuzzy set and interval type-2 fuzzy set in analytic hierarchy process

In the broad application of the analytic hierarchy process (AHP) to address decision problems pertaining to multi-criteria decision-making, crisp values are often used to represent the linguistic judgement made by experts or decision makers.  The numerous fuzzy approaches proposed in prior studies, such as interval type-2 fuzzy set (IT2FS) and hesitant fuzzy set (HFS), may serve as alternative models to tackle both vagueness and uncertainty during the decision process.  As such, this study offers a new AHP framework characterised by the integration of IT2FS and HFS for

A metaheuristic approach to improve consistency of the pairwise matrix in AHP

In this paper, we are interested in modifying inconsistent pairwise comparison matrix which is a critical step in the AHP methodology, where decision makers have to improve the consistency by revising the process.  To this end, we propose an improved genetic algorithm (GA) to allow decision makers to find an appropriate matrix and adjust the consistency of their judgment without loss of original comparison matrix.  Numerical results with different dimensions of matrices taken randomly show the effectiveness of these strategy to improve and identify the consistency of pa

APPLICATION OF THE ANALYTIC HIERARCHY PROCESS FOR EVALUATION OF THE INNOVATION ACTIVITY LEVEL IN THE WESTERN UKRAINE REGIONS

The innovative development of enterprises and regions of Western Ukraine in the sphere
of industry is investigated in this scientific paper, taking into account theoretical approaches
and concepts of the innovation activity development.
The introduction of innovative technologies contributes to the sustainable development of
regions of Ukraine in accordance with international agreements, the economical use of their
resources, and the increase of efficiency of enterprises and organizations. The basis for
