The Strategy for Addressing the Challenges of Global Oil Market Globalization: Diversification of Energy Sources and Development of Renewable Technologies in Ukraine

The article explores the challenges of globalization in the global oil market and proposes a strategy for addressing them. It was found that the globalization of the oil market and related issues significantly affect Ukraine’s economy and population due to the country's heavy dependence on oil and petroleum imports to meet domestic needs. Along with the impact of global oil market challenges, the war in Ukraine has significantly affected the country's energy security and exacerbated economic problems related to oil import dependence.

Study and analysis of partial shading effect on power production of a photovoltaic string controlled by three different MPPT techniques: P&O, PSO and ANN

Partial shading occurs when some of the solar panels are exposed to reduced irradiation.  Partial shading can lead to creating peaks and troughs in power production.  The goal of this study is to compare the effect of partial shading on the capacity of maximum power point tracking (MPPT) methods, to find the global maximum power point.  To this end, the study focuses on performance simulation and discussion of Perturb and Observe (P&O), Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO), and Artificial Neural Network (ANN) controls.  Analysing the three MPPT controller's results, in

The modern state of approaches to monitoring the technical condition of wind turbine blades us-ing information technologies

Nowadays wind energy is one of the most important and promising sources of environmentally clean renewable energy. Wind turbine blades are among the most expensive components. Depending on the size, their manufacturing costs range between 10 % and 20 % of total manufacturing costs. Moreover, the size of blades has increased in recent years, leading to greater efficiency and energy production, but presenting higher failure probability.

EFFECT OF LEMNA MINOR POPULATION DENSITY ON BIOELECTRIC PARAMETERS OF ELECTRO-BIOSYSTEMS

The article presents a study of the influence of Lemna minor population density on the bioelectric potential and current of model electro-biosystems in the laboratory сonditions using 500 and 1000 Ω resistors and in the open circuit. The positive effect of increasing the density of duckweed plants populations from 60 to 120 fronds/ml on the growth of bioelectric parameters of model electro-biosystems under load conditions and without resistors was revealed. Increasing the amount of duckweed biomass is a factor of enhancing the efficiency of electro-biosystems based on L.

Activation energy and effective moisture diffusivity determination in drying of grinded artichoke stems

In Ukraine plant biomass from crop fields and forests is the dominant renewable energy source and it is suitable to replace fuels by producing bio-gas, bio-ethanol as well as solid bio-fuel. Tubes of Jerusalem artichoke are used as functional food ingredients such as inulin, fructose and oligofructose as well as bioactive ingredient sources for pharmaceutical and cosmetic applications.
