On the basis of results of studies executed in the Carpathian region it was possible to propose rational scheme of the work and characteristic of the possibilities of geological-geophysical methods for studying geodynamic processes in mount massifs in potentially landslide dangerous territories.
Thesis is devoted to study of the deep tectonic structure of Ukrainian part of the Carpathians. A spatial model based on previously conducted seismic investigation, geological data, petrophysical and well log data has been created within Carpathian region. An estimation of the model adequacy in terms of its correspondence to gravity field has been done. Results of the research showed the necessity of conducting regional complex study for creating a consistent model of the Carpathian’s deep structure.
The structure and composition of Trostyanets layer were considered. It is the result of submarine volcanism. Geologic cross-section of right tributary of the river Trostianets was compiled. It was considered that Trostyanets formation was founded during stretching of the Earth’s crust.
Classification of cultural landscapes is considered basing on the studying special literature. The glossary of natural and cultural-historical terms of near Carpathian region was created.
