The purpose of the study is to investigate the feasibility of using smartphones to determine orientation angles in the field, in particular, magnetic azimuths and horizontal angles.  The paper also aims to assess the accuracy of measurements performed using built-in magnetometers and to determine the suitability of such devices for orientation tasks when the use of traditional geodetic instruments is impossible or impractical. Methodology. To achieve this goal, an experiment was conducted involving 12 observers using 11 smartphone models from different manufacturers.

The article considers innovative approaches to improving the accuracy of measurements of mechanical quantities by strain gauges. Particular attention is paid to sources of additional errors caused by external factors, such as temperature, vibration, power instability and structural imperfections of the sensor. The article addresses the issue of outliers in metrological measurements, which can significantly distort research results and affect measurement accuracy. Outliers that substantially differ from other data points in a sample seriously threaten the reliability of metrological processes. In previous studies, the Isolation Forest model was applied to detect such outliers, demonstrating its effectiveness under certain conditions.

На основі комп’ютерного моделювання проаналізовано інструментальну та методичну складові похибки вимірювання температури методами багатоканальної термометрії випромінення. Визначено умови, за яких доцільне їх застосування, та загальні недоліки використання цих методів. Запропоновано методику багатооканального вимірювання температури.

The authors investigated the effect of changes in the acoustic signal propagation speed and the accuracy of sensor positioning on the accuracy of sound source localization. The mean absolute error grows with the displacement of the microphones relative to the nominal coordinates (X, Y). The same trend is observed with an increase in the actual acoustic signal velocity deviation from the velocity under normal environmental conditions.

У прикладних задачах геодезії може виникати потреба у визначенні просторових кутів. При виносі 3D проєкту будівель і споруд в натуру за просторовими координатами їх характерних точок з використанням електронного тахеометра  (ЕТ) також з’являється необхідність у перевірці просторових кутів між різними елементами будівельних конструкцій (наприклад, конструкцій, які формують перекриття дахів, нахилених анкерів тощо). Сучасні геодезичні прилади забезпечують, достатньо високу точність вимірювання (до 1" та 1 мм відповідно).

Стаття присвячена питанням причин, видів та наслідків помилкової криміналізації. Однією з проблем криміналізації суспільно небезпечних діянь є те, що різні фактори можуть спричинити неправильну, або так звану помилкову криміналізацію. Її видами є: 1) необґрунтована криміналізація; 2) надмірна криміналізація; 3) неповна криміналізація; 4) неправильна криміналізація. Необґрунтована (безпідставна) криміналізація полягає у визнанні кримінальним правопорушенням діяння, якому не притаманні достатні для криміналізації характер та ступінь шкідливості (небезпечності).
