The analysis of movement modes of cam mechanisms is carried out. The technique of optimum movement modes synthesis is proposed; it allows to receive any modes which reflect certain properties of a cam mechanism. Complex optimum movement modes which simultaneously take into consideration several properties of cam mechanisms are most promising. Such optimum movement modes can be received on the basis of complex criteria taking into account optimum movement modes of cam mechanisms by single integrated criteria.

In the paper the behavior of an intelligent agent in a competitive environment is investigated in the paper. The OODA loop is chosen for behavior simulation. The interaction of OODA loop stages (observation, orientation, decision support, action) with the ontology of tasks and subject area in which the agent operates was explored.

The paper analyzes the shortcomings of existing models of text documents, it  proposes an uniform content model of text that formed on the basis of synthesis of logic and linguistic models of its sentences. The work shows basic steps of the proposed algorithm for constructing content models of text

The present paper describes a simple circuit for construction of a cyclic voltage generator, which can be used in electrochemical synthesis of conducting polymer films like polyaniline(PANI), polythiophene, polypyrrol etc. The circuit consists of a clock generator; its frequency is converted into digital voltage which is further converted to analog form using digital to analog converter (DAC). This analog voltage, after boosting, is used as a source of voltage in the synthesis of conducting polymer.

The article is a review of the data on synthesis and physiological activity of hybrid antioxidants. The introduction offers an explanation to the fact why, in some cases, it is necessary to add drug molecules with fragments responsible for various properties and aimed at various targets. A large group of hybrid antioxidants comprise stable nitroxyl radicals that behave as antioxidants in free-radical reactions of oxidation. Compounds of this type were synthesized extensively to form a group of antitumor agents.

The investigation of fullerenes and especially of carbon nanotubes (CNTs) has opened a totally new window for the development of polymer matrix composites with novel properties and applications. CNTs, which have a number of unexpected properties, both mechanical and electrical, seem to have huge potential as a filler, i.e. as a reinforcement in nanocomposites. With the discovery of carbon nanotubes, the research efforts have been initially concentrated on the better understanding of their processing conditions, modification, and properties.

З використанням методу ацілування синтезовано нові похідні метил 4,6-О-(4-метоксібензіліден)--D- глюкопіранозиду. Показано, що метил--D-глюкопіранозид селективно перетворюється на метил 4,6-O-(4-метоксібензіліден)--D- глюкопіранозид за реакцією з 4-метоксибензальдегід диметилформамідом з достатньо непоганим виходом. Використовуючи широкий спектр ацілюючих агентів, одержано ряд 2,3-ді-О-ацильних похідних цього продукту для визначення їх структури. Структуру синтезованих сполук підтверджено методами спектрального і елементного аналізу.

Полімеризацією суспензій з використанням суміші розчинників отримано пористі сферичні матеріали. Синтезовано пористі смоли на основі метилметакрилату і дивінілбензолу та визначено їх насипну густину, питома площу, об'єм пор, морфологію і відсоток набрякання. Показано, що система розчинників (толуол/гептан або метилетилкетон/циклогексан) значно впливає на властивості полімерів. Окрім того, відмінності в параметрах розчинності мономерів і розчинників впливає на морфологічну структуру кульок.

Здійснено синтез та скринінг протипухлинної активності 1,2,4-тріазино[5,6-b]індолів. При взаємодії 3-меркапто-1,2,4-траізино[5,6-b]індолів та N-арилхлороацетамідів одержано 3S-заміщені 1,2,4-тріазино[5,6-b]індоли. На основі 3-гідразино-1,2,4-тріазино[5,6-b]індолів отриано групу нових похідних 4-тіазолідинону. Вивчення протипухлинної активності семи синтезованих сполук здійснено на 60 лініях ракових клітин згідно протоколу NCI.

Вивчена взаємодія піридин-4(-3,-2)альдоксиму із 3-бром-N,N,N-тріалкіл-2-оксо(-гідроксіміно)-1-пропанамоній броміду. Склад і структура синтезованих сполук 4(-2,-3)-(гідроксімінометил)-1-[(2-оксо(гідроксіміно)-3-тріалкіламоній)пропіл)]піридиній дибромідів встановлені з використанням елементного аналізу, фізичних та хімічних методів. Синтезовані сполуки випробувані на їх активність як реактиватори фосфорильованої ацетилхолінестерази.
