The article analyses the dynamics and qualitative changes of land resources in the Mykolaiv region during 1991–2024 based on statistical, cartographic, and analytical data. Located in southern Ukraine within the steppe zone, the region is characterised by a dry climate, extensive ploughing, and a large share of irrigated areas, making it highly vulnerable to soil degradation. The study identifies key trends in land-use structure, soil fertility, and nutrient balance on agricultural lands.

У даній статті подано інформацію про порівняння деградації гнучкого пінополіуретану на основі пальмової олії з комерційним гнучким пінополіуретаном (контрольним зразком) у ґрунті протягом 30 днів. Зразок, використаний у цьому дослідженні, – це композитний пінополіуретан, що містить близько 50-60% поліолу пальмової олії і має характеристики, подібні до звичайного пінополіуретану. Новизна цього дослідження полягає у вивченні швидкості деградації композитного гнучкого пінополіуретану з вмістом поліолу пальмової олії 50-60%.

The hydrolytic degradation of polyhydroxyalkanoates, polylactide and their mixtures in vitro in physiological solution and phosphate-salt buffer as well was researched. The hydrolysis intensity of biopolymers was evaluated via the mass loss, change in molecular weight as well as the water absorption applying the methods of infrared spectroscopy and complex thermal analysis. It was determined that films based on the researched biodegradable polymers thermostated in a phosphate-salt buffer have been degrading faster than in physiological solution.

Для одержання епоксидованої олеїнової кислоти проведено її епоксидування з використанням in situ пероксимурашиної кислоти (HCOOOH). Пероксимурашину кислоту одержано внаслідок змішування мурашиної кислоти (як кисневого носія) та пероксиду водню (як донора кисню). Встановлено, що епоксидне кільце є дуже реакційним, особливо в присутності кислоти, що дає можливість використовувати епоксид для синтезу інших сполук.

У статті наведено результати досліджень впливу різних концентрацій робочих розчинів ензимного засобу «Ензимий» на мікробні біоплівки Staphylococcus aureus, Pseudomonas aeruginosa та Bacillus cereus. Проведені дослідження вказують на те, що найоптимальніша дія засобу на біоплівки проявляється за концентрації 0,01 %, за якої оптична щільність біоплівок знижується в 3,7 раза у Staphylococcus aureus і у Pseudomonas aeruginosa та в 4,5 раза у Bacillus cereus порівняно з контролем і знаходиться у межах 0,7-0,53 од. відповідно.

The degradation of polymers in aggressive media is a complex physico-chemical process including adsorption, diffusion and the dissociation of chemically unstable bonds. The course of degradation has a number of special features, which are linked both with the specific structure of polymeric materials and with specific kinetics of reactions in solids

In this paper an overview of novel biodegradable polymers for food packaging is presented. The aim was to present factors influencing polymer degradation and biodegradation in various environments. It was noted that biodegradable polymers are an imperfect alternative for classical polymers and their decomposition strongly depends on degradation environment. It was also shown that there are various approaches in different countries to certification of biodegradable polymer materials, which rather complicates its application than promotes it.

Досліджено реакції озону з: 1,4-цис-полібутадієном (SKD); дієновим еластомером 35 NFA, який містить 1,4-цис (47 %), 1,4-транс (42 %), 1,2- (11 %) бутадієнових одиниць; 1,4-цис-поліізопреном (Carom IR 2200); 1,4-транс-поліхлоропреном (Denka M40) і 1,4-транс-поліізопреном в CCl4. Зміна в‘язкості розчинів полімерів при озонолізі характеризується числом розривання ланцюга на одну молекулу поглиненого озону (φ). Досліджено вплив умов масоперенесення реагентів на значення φ в барботажному реакторі.
