Розглянуто геоінформаційну систему (ГІС) пошуку людей, за допомогою якої користувач цього сервісу має можливість знайти людину, яка знаходиться поряд з нею на карті, та розпочати спілкування. Запропоновано варіант реалізації геоінформаційної системи пошуку людей. Описано можливості інструментальних ГІС та технології клієнт-сервер і запопонований алгоритм геоінформаційної системи пошуку людей. Запропоновано алгоритм представлення інформації про користувача з використанням маркерів, які розташовуються на карті.
