Synthesis methods of controllers based on the use of frequency characteristics or root hodographs are considered classic or traditional. Frequency methods are available in practical applications, and most control systems are designed based on various modifications to these methods. A distinctive feature of these methods is the so-called robustness, which means that the characteristics of a closed system are insensitive to the minor errors of the model of the real system.

The positivity and asymptotic stability of descriptor linear continuous-time and discrete-time systems with interval state matrices and interval polynomials are investigated. Necessary and sufficient conditions for the positivity of descriptor continuous-time and discrete-time linear systems are established. It is shown that the convex linear combination of polynomials of positive linear systems is also the Hurwitz polynomial. The Kharitonov theorem is extended to the positive descriptor linear systems with interval state matrices.
The article deals with the peculiarities of an economic evaluation of administrative systems in the context of management business processes reengineering. In particular, methodological approaches to the economic evaluation of such systems are described and characterized.
