Researh an acttual scientific task abou tpurification of landfill infiltrates in municipal pollution contro facilities . Pedotrophic microorganisms have formed a unique group of microorganisms that metabolize organic matter, including toxic, and are resistant to the compounds of heavy metals and other toxic compounds. Due to resistance to heavy metal ions and the ability to degrade a wide range of organic substances, pedotrophic microorganisms are characterized by significant biotechnological potential.

Biological methods are used for the treatment of sewage.  Modern biological technologies allow the removal of various pollutants from industrial waters.  For deep sewage treatment biomass (active sludge) is used which is in a suppressed condition, or with the use of attached (immobilized) biomass.

We analyzed the problems of environmental safety of the hydrosphere, studied the technology of cleaning household and household water. It is important to introduce promising technologies for cleaning infiltration of dumps, as well as to study the microorganisms of biocenosis isolated from infiltrate of Gribovytsky landfill. The research was conducted in two stages. The first step was to investigate the composition of the filtrate and its effect on bio-purification technology. For this purpose, a laboratory installation was used. We have chosen the concentrations of filtrate in the dilution range from 1:10 to 1:1500. The experiment time was 6 hours with constant aeration. It was important to analyze the chemical composition of the wastewater and how variables change before and after the laboratory setting.

During the subsequent studies, the influence of the filtrate of the Lviv Polygon TPP on the biological treatment process was analyzed. Combined sewage mixtures of Lviv KOS-II with filtrate, for active purification of aerosols KOS-II used for purification and determined the efficiency of industrial water purification.
