The article introduces three archival primary sources into scholarly circulation for the first time. These sources are preserved in the Military Archive of the Austrian State Archives in Vienna (Österreichische Staatsarchiv. Kriegsarchiv. Wien) and include: the map «Plan der demolirten Festung Stanislawow. Durchshnitle nach den Linien», 1812 (Plan of the Demolished Fortress of Stanislawow. Cross-sections along the Lines), and two text documents – «Demolirung der Befestigung Stanislawow. Mineurs Detachement. Relation», dated 13.08.1812 (Demolition of the Fortifications of Stanislawow. Miners' Detachment. Report), and «Total Bericht. Demolirung der Festungswerke Stanislawow», dated 31.08.1812 (General Report. Demolition of the Fortification Structures of Stanislawow).

The article analyzes the content of the two aforementioned documents, which report on the demolition of the defensive fortifications of Stanislawow, and includes both the original texts and their translation into modern Ukrainian.

The processed cartographic source provides a detailed plan of the fortress city of Stanislawow during the period of the demolition of its urban defensive structures, eleven cross-sections, and a textual annotation. The article incorporates original graphic images and presents a translation of the inscriptions and annotations into modern Ukrainian.

The analysis of cartographic and textual sources provides a deeper understanding of the reasons for the dismantling of the city fortifications of Stanislawow by 1812, as well as the methods of their destruction. Of particular value is the opportunity to reconstruct the structural features of the defensive structures at the time of their construction in the 17th century. These materials serve as an important addition to previous scientific research and open new perspectives for further study of the history and architecture of the Stanislaw Fortress. Moreover, this map and descriptions can serve as an important source of data on the preserved fragments of the fortress fortifications, which may be used in further archaeological research.
