Paper Review Process

The submitted paper will be checked in several stages:

  1. First of all, the paper will be checked for compliance with formal requirements (formatting, revision of citations and bibliography, structure of the paper, etc.). If the requirements are not met, the paper is returned to the author for re-reading.
  2. Next, manuscripts are checked for plagiarism, ghosting, and borrowing. If the document is found to be a copy of any previous work, it will be automatically rejected for publication. The originality of the publication should be at least 80%.
  3. The editor-in-chief conducts a preliminary analysis of the topic, relevance, topicality, and originality of the paper, based on which a decision is made about the feasibility of sending the paper for review.
  4. The paper, designed according to the requirements - clearly structured, free of plagiarism and borrowings, presents the results of original research, is then sent to two independent reviewers (“double-blind peer review”)  - experts in the subject field for review without specifying the author of the paper. In the case of positive reviews, the paper is recommended for publication. If both reviews are negative, the paper is rejected. If the paper receives two reviews with opposing evaluations (one negative and one positive), the editorial board submits it for review to a third reviewer. The editorial office reserves the right to accept a paper for publication even if it does not fully comply with certain requirements, provided that the author revises the text accordingly. The final decision on the acceptance of the paper for publication is made by the editorial board.
  5. Reviewers check and analyze the content of manuscripts and provide their expertise. The verification process may take from 2 to 6 weeks..
  6. The reviewers send the results of the analysis of the paper to the editor-in-chief with a recommendation to accept or reject the paper. The review may include recommendations for revisions and improvements to the paper. However, this paper is potentially recommended for publication. After the authors take into account the recommendations and suggestions of the reviewers, the paper can be recommended for publication.
  7. The review reports are sent to the author team via the submission system without indicating the reviewer’s name, in accordance with the principle of anonymity. The notification includes information on the preliminary acceptance or rejection of the paper, specifies the reasons for rejection, and sets the deadlines for revision. The maximum period granted to authors for revisions is from 2 to 3 weeks.
  8. After the author has made all the necessary changes in accordance with the recommendations and suggestions of the reviewers, the manuscript is sent to the same reviewer for revision.
  9. The editorial board of the journal discusses the results of review and revision of manuscripts by the authors and makes the final decision on the selection of papers for the next issue of the journal.
  10. After the editorial board meeting, authors are notified whether their papers will be included in the next issue or transferred to the next issue if the reviewers' recommendations are partially ignored.
