The purpose of this work is to develop a series of interactive maps of the memory of the heroes of the Russian-Ukrainian war, which will provide information about the fallen soldiers in the battle for the independence of Ukraine. Methodology. To compile web maps of the memory of the fallen heroes of the Russian-Ukrainian war, the appropriate ArcGIS-Online software was used. The data was collected from open sources, particularly from the “Book of Memory of the Fallen for Ukraine” and “Memorial. Platform of Memory”. The database was created in MS Excel and exported to the ArcGIS-Online cartographic service. As a result, we compiled a series of interactive maps dedicated to the memory of the fallen heroes of the Russian-Ukrainian war who defended Ukraine, in particular, the Kyiv region at the beginning of the full-scale invasion, and a map of heroes who originally came from the Lviv region. The scientific novelty and practical significance lie in the feasibility of creating interactive maps of the heroes of the Russian-Ukrainian war, which provide access to information about the contribution of each defender to the struggle for the freedom of the state. This approach contributes to preserving historical memory, patriotic education of youth, and forming national identity. The importance of this study is due to the need to introduce the latest technologies into the process of preserving the memory of the exploits of Ukrainian heroes, as well as the relevance of developing innovative solutions in the field of information technology to support national culture and history.
