The article highlights current trends in sustainable development in the architecture of public spaces. The conceptual principles of forming an environmentally and socially responsible architectural environment taking into account modern urban challenges are analyzed. Key aspects of the sustainability of architectural space are revealed: energy efficiency, the choice of environmentally safe materials, adaptability and flexibility of spatial scenarios, biophilic design and principles of social inclusion.

The article addresses the issue of rational resource use within the framework of the circular economy. It analyzes scientific approaches to defining the essence and principles of the circular economy and summarizes research conducted by domestic and international scholars on its implementation across various sectors. The necessity of identifying ways for efficient and rational resource utilization, reuse, and waste reduction is emphasized.

Purpose: Ensuring the operation of a monitoring mechanism for the use of tactical planning methods within the system of circular business models of enterprises facilitates effective resource management, waste minimization, and supports sustainable development. The formation of well-founded strategic and tactical decisions in this context is based on effective planning methods, monitoring of key performance indicators, identification of trends and changes, uncovering interconnections and patterns, etc.

The article formulates the advantages and challenges of implementing circular economy princi- ples in the pharmaceutical industry. The main strategic aspects of optimizing business processes in the context of sustainable development are substantiated. The results of the study highlight the specifics of implementing circular economy principles in the pharmaceutical industry by updating the environmen- tal, economic and social benefits of such a transition, as well as analyzing potential opportunities and challenges along the way.

A study has been conducted on the problems of sustainable development arising from the concept of achieving a balanced combination of economic growth, social progress, and environmental protection using the example of the modern development of retail trade. It has been established that the linear econ- omy model, which is based on the paradigm of consumption dominance, has led to the depletion of natural resources, environmental pollution, and climate change and does not meet the modern demands of society due to its negative socio-economic effects.

Ukraine's transition to an energy-efficient economy as part of its overall transformation to EU standards is a difficult but crucial challenge. The country's post-war recovery will involve modernizing the entire infrastructure in line with EU sustainable development standards.

Purpose. The concept of circular economy (closed-loop economy) emerged as an alternative economic model designed to reduce the negative impact on the environment, solve the problem of resource scarcity, extend the life cycle of products and solve global problems of the world economy and international economic relations on this basis. Obtaining the benefits of implementing circular business models, which consist in increasing the income of the world economy, saving resources, and increasing the number of jobs, requires reasonable and rational planning at enterprises.

In work, a web application was designed and developed to support interaction between members of different households regarding the disposal of household waste and the sale of used goods on the secondary  market.  To  minimize  the  negative  human  impact  on  the  environment,  the  developed information system to support household waste disposal is based on the principles of a circular economy, where all available resources are reusable, goods to recycle, and in general, the level of consumption is reduced.
