The aim of the given article is to trace the origins of common forms of space and plasticity in railway station buildings in Halychyna (Galicia) and Tyrol and reveal their most important features and trends in their formation.
The lawyer’s activity of S. Golubovich at the beginning of the twentieth century is discussed in this article. His role in the famous contemporary trials of political nature was revealed, which reflected the sharpening contradictions between ukrainians and poles of eastern Galicia in the specified period. The speeches of counsel were analyzed when considering political affairs by Myroslav Sìchinskyj (1908), chernyhivskih peasants (1908) and students of the Lviv University (1911).
Attention is paid to the issues of the historical and cultural heritage of prominent figures of the Ukrainian past, its influence on cultural and socio-economic changes, transformational and processes of modernization in Ukraine, and to the formation of a distinctive national socio-cultural space in the modern conditions of Ukrainian state-building, growth of national consciousness and the manifestation of Ukrainian identity.
In this article Lozynskyi’s historical heritage is taken into account while analyzing processes which took place in Ukraine during national-liberation movement. The article states that M. Lozynskyi began his career in the well-known Lviv newspaper «Dilo», where he started to work in 1900, and later become an editor of it until theWorldWar I.
The article analyzes the complex relationships between Ukrainian and Polish in Halychyna in the late XIX — beginning XX century. Showing Christian socials attitude on the Polish question during the 1896–1914. Methods of resolving international conflicts party leaders, their attitude to the Polish question. It was found that their position was moderate and tolerant attitude on the Poles.
