Foreign Trade Position of Ukraine in the Eu: Study of Change Trends During the Period of Marital Status

In the conditions of deepening the processes of European integration, the article analyses the main foreign trade partners of Ukraine. In order to study trends in changes in foreign trade during the period of martial law, the article uses 3 analytical periods: 1st quarter 2020, 1st quarter 2022, 1st quarter 2024. Cluster analysis implemented in SPSS from IBM was used to form groups of foreign trade partners.

ASSESSMENT OF THE PRODUCTION AND EXPORT-IMPORT POTENTIAL OF THE SUGAR MARKET

The purpose. The aim of the study is to investigate the trends in the development of the sugar market in Ukraine, taking into account the trends in the global sugar market.
The objectives of the study are as follows:
– to analyse certain parameters of the global sugar market;
–- studying the specifics of the sugar market in Ukraine and its export-import potential in the context of macroeconomic and geopolitical disturbances;
– studying the impact of the beet industry on the efficiency of the sugar market in Ukraine.

STUDY OF EXPORT AND IMPORT POTENTIAL OF THE SALT MARKET IN UKRAINE

Purpose. Objective of the work – to study the state and development trends of the salt market in Ukraine and its place in the global salt market in the context of increasing competition in times of turmoil. Tasks of the work – to analyze the dynamics of global salt production in general and across leading countries; to identify the specifics of export-import activities by salt-producing countries; to determine the position of Ukraine's salt market in the global salt market during the war.

Fighting smuggling in Ukraine: measures and challenges

Ukraine, as a modern state, faces the challenge of effectively combating smuggling, which not only leads to significant budget losses but also poses a threat to national security and economic development. This article discusses the key aspects of this problem, from the causes of smuggling of equipment to the low level of incentives for customs officers and the threats they face.

The reasons for smuggling are discussed, such as corruption, excessive customs duties and taxes, and imperfect legislation.

Gross Domestic Product of Ukraine in the Context of Global Challenges

The article analyses the dynamics of Ukraine's GDP in the light of social and political challenges of recent years. Ukraine's GDP dynamics were negatively affected by the COVID-19 pandemic and the ongoing full-scale russian invasion. The factors that caused a slowdown in economic growth in most regions of the world are also outlined: large-scale quarantine measures, supply chain disruptions, the abolition of fiscal stimulus for economic development, and tight monetary policies of central banks in developed countries.

Labeling requirements as one of the tools for non-tariff regulation of imports of Ukrainian food products to China

The article analyzes the dynamics and structure of international trade in Ukrainian food products with China. The opportunities of Ukrainian food producers to meet the demand of Chinese consumers are considered. The tools of the Chinese non-tariff trade policy regarding the import of food products (licenses, certificates of quality or compliance, certificates of origin, quality standards, requirements for packaging and labeling, legislative acts, sanitary and phytosanitary requirements) and their impact on trade with Ukraine are determined.
