ANALYSIS OF REQUIREMENTS FOR EQUIPMENT AND TECHNIQUES ACCORDING TO ISO/IEC 17025:2017

It is important to carry out metrological confirmation of the used measuring equipment in order to obtain reliable measurement results during the conformity assessment of products. Assessment of the metrological confirmation of the measuring equipment confirms its conformity with the given measuring task. For proper performance of this task it is necessary to have an appropriate measurement  technique.

ANALYSIS OF THE MEASUREMENT QUALITY INDEXES

The article focuses on the main problems of methodology of the measurement quality evaluation in the context of introduction into metrological practice of the International Dictionary of Metrology VIM 3. The generalized definition of the notion of measurement quality is given. A separate analysis of measurement quality indexes as a process and quality indexes of measurement result as a product of this process is carried out.

MONITORING OF INDOOR AIR IN A PASSENGER RAILWAY WAGONS

In low-energy and passive houses, about 80 % of the total energy is consumed for fresh air heating or cooling, the reason being the improved thermal insulation and air tightness of such a building. In fact, actual trend of building construction is to keep the windows closed. A similar situation is already encountered in some means of transportation, i. e. air-conditioned trains. Ventilation of the passenger space is assured mainly by a mechanical ventilation and, when the train stops, by a natural ventilation through door opening.

THE EFFECT OF RANDOM DEVIATIONS ON UNCERTAINTY OF EXTREME OBSERVATIONS

An attention is considered to analysis of instrumental component of result’s uncertainty. While production control in industry, the mentioned component for concrete measuring instrument with the concrete measurement results has to be determined and analyzed. Important is the question of random impacts effect on to uncertainty of extreme (minimum or maximum) observations.

"IFM ELECTRONIC" COMPANY - THE NEW PARTNER OF THE DEPARTMENT "INFORMATION-MEASURING TECHNOLOGIES"

Department “Information and measurement technologies” of Lviv Polytechnic National University raises the training of masters and specialists in metrology and measuring technology to the higher level with support of “IFM Еlectronic” that is world-wide company in development and production of smart sensors and automation elements.

ANALYSIS OF THE VENTILATION AIR FLOW RATE FOR RENEWAL OF WINDOWS

Replacement of old wooden windows in a new plastic windows, in the old buildings, we achieve the massive reducing heat loss of the building. New windows are characterized by better tightness. The question is, how much more are reduce the uncontrolled ventilation. In the article is presented the experimental measurement indoor air quality in the room in two phases. In the first phase is in the room installed 55 year old wood window. In the second phase is in the same room installed new plastic window.

Investigation of Sensor for Measurement of Rotation Angle of Sensitive Element in Rotational Paper Pulp Consistometer

This paper presents the results of theoretical and experimental testing of an optical rotation angle sensor of rotational paper pulp consistency meter. It is suggested that a specialized device consisting of two discs with the diameter as large as possible should be applied in the rotational consistency meters. There are holes in the disks. One more optocoupler should be applied for registering the beginning of the signal processing of separate measurements in order to reduce the root-mean square error.

The Method of Signal Processing when Measuring Non-stationary Values

Nowadays the problem of quick-changing non-stationary values measurement is extremely actual in various modern technical systems (parameters control of engine combustion chamber, testing of aerospace complex products, scientific researches etc.). There are sufficiently effective ways of such measurement. However, increase in the speed of such methods is needed urgently. The attempt of finding the new approach to the problem of sensor output signal processing when measuring non-stationary values using the example of non-stationary pressure measurement by piezoresistive sensors is presented.

Heat Exchange between Thermometer Well and Pipe Wall in Natural Gas Metering Systems

This paper deals with the accuracy of gas flow temperature measurement in natural gas metering systems. The effect of heat exchange between thermometer well and the pipe wall on the accuracy of gas flow temperature measurement is investigated. A mathematical model is proposed to calculate the additional systematic error of gas flow temperature measurement caused by heat exchange between thermometer well and the pipe wall. Calculation results were compared to the corresponding experimental values of this error.
