APPLICATION OF FORMALIZED MODELS OF EVENTS FOR EVALUATION OF DANGER AND ACCIDENT ASSESSMENT OF THE COMPRESSOR STATION OF THE MAIN PIPELINE

An effective approach to solving the problem of reducing man-made hazards is the use of specialized systems for forecasting and minimizing risks. The theoretical basis for hazard assessment is probabilistic safety analysis (IAB). The most common method of assessing the danger and accident is the development of formalized models of events is the use of logical-probabilistic models "failure tree" (FTA) and "event tree" (ETA). These methods are widely used in the world to analyze the risk of accidents at facilities with increased levels of danger.

Evolution of the phenomenon of life safety

The evolution of the life safety phenomenon is considered, the theoretical aspects are analyzed and the essence of the concept "safety of life" and its interpretation in the scientific environment are analyzed. The model of development and scientific principles of life safety is explored. Author's definition of life safety is proposed.

Features of transnational criminal organizations

Studying of organized crime is an important task not only for theoreticians but for practitioners as well. No less important is the development of effective measures for prevention of illegal activities of such groups. The peculiarity of the above mentioned organizations is that their activities usually inflict harm not only on individuals or legal entities but also threaten entire brunches of national economies and jeopardize the proper functioning or even the existence of the latter.

Seismicity and the stressed state of the starobin potassium salt deposit in Belarus

Purpose. To carry out the investigations in the the East European Platform southwest with a special emphasize made on the Soligorsk region, where the Starobin deposit of potassium salts of the Late-Devonian age is located. The interest of scientists to just this region is explained by the fact that a swarm of crustal earthquake foci is restricted within this deposit area, which is in marked contrast to other seismic events that are few and far between and rather evenly distributed over the other territory of Belarus. Methods.
