The article analyzes the structure of the process of professional formation of future managers, identifies the components of the characteristics of a future specialist that ensure effective management of professional formation. The concept of professional formation of the individual, which is considered by scientists as the formation of professional orientation, competence, socially significant and professionally important qualities and their integration, readiness for constant personal and professional growth, is de- fined.

Problem setting. Structural reforms in the healthcare system, medical institutions autonomization and radical change in their financing model, necessitate continuous improvement of methodological and organizational approaches to the training of modern specialists in the field of healthcare organization and management.

The  article  defines  the  determinants  of  the  professional  identity  of  the  subjectsof  state 
border  guard.  The  professional  identity  of  the  subjects  of  state  border  protection  includes  the 
following  components:  a  dynamic  system  of  professional  values  and  acquired  professional 
competence.  In  the  course  of  the  research,  fourstages  of  the  formation  of  a  professional 
identity  are  identified:  uncertain  professional  identity,  imposed  professional  identity,
