METHODOLOGY FOR MEASURING AND ENHANCING THE QUALITY OF VOWI-FI AND VOLTE VOICE COMMUNICATION ON CRITICAL INFRASTRUCTURE OBJECTS

Critical infrastructure, which includes facilities necessary for the normal functioning of society (e.g., power plants, transportation hubs, hospitals, etc.), requires reliable communication to ensure uninterrupted operation and coordination of actions in emergency situations. This paper presents a methodology for measuring and improving the quality of voice communication via VoWi-Fi and VoLTE technologies at critical infrastructure facilities.

The Network Load Balancer in Decentrilized Systems

This article explores the implementation of network load balancing in decentralized systems using OpenWrt, Quality of Service (QoS), and traffic balancing techniques. The increasing demand for high-quality net- work services and the surge in network traffic requires the adoption of more efficient load-balancing methods to main- tain network performance. This paper discusses the use of OpenWrt, an open-source firmware for network routers, to configure and manage network traffic.

A significant increase in the number of smart devices with Wi-Fi modules and the forecast growth of data
consumption in the coming years requires the development of new methods of designing Wi-Fi networks to
improve the quality of experience for end-users. In this regard, the paper improved the conceptual model of
software-defined Wi-Fi network, which, in contrast to the known, is based on centralized control of the
selection process of access point service by using SDN controller and by monitoring the state of the network in

Метод управління якістю сприйняття послуг для програмно-конфігурованих мереж заснованих на намірах

The article is devoted to the development of a perception quality management method in softwaredefined
networking using IBN ideology. The so-called IBN (Intent-based networking) is based on the
well-known SDN (Software-Defined Network) and represents one of the most important new features of
network infrastructure. IBN offers network administrators a simple way to express business goals, such
as providing the necessary QoE, by allowing network software to automatically achieve these QoE goals.

Complex Optimization Method of Routing Information Flows in Self-organized Networks

Modified routing algorithms are presented based on basic meta-heuristic algorithms: ant colony optimization, genetic and simulated annealing to determine the best route for information flows in self-organized networks. An ant colony optimization is based on the use of the probability parameter for the transition between the nodes located between the source node and the receiving node. To solve the problem of optimization of routing in a simulated annealing, its modification is proposed by adding or removing a transit node based on the coverage of the reaching range of neighboring nodes.

Intellectual Vertical Handover Algorithm in Heterogeneous Mobile Network Based on Cloud Technology

In this work has been increased quality of service in mobile systems based on efficient network and radio utilization of resources of heterogeneous network and optimal procedure of intellectual vertical handover based on cloud technology and fuzzy logic. Thus a novel network selection mechanism using intelligent agents has been proposed, which select the best network based on QoS parameters uses theory of fuzzy sets.

Ensuring QoE and Fairness of LTE Resource Allocation During Video Streaming

The problem of video streaming over LTE network is analyzed. The mathematical model of resource allocation of LTE is offered during video streaming. It provides different service schedule for heterogeneous mobile traffic. It allows assuring the demanded quality parameters for better user experience. The goal of the paper is to increase the LTE user experience delivering video content over the radio access network.

Research on the Traffic Aggregation Process in Optical Burst Switched Networks

Next generation optical networks should provide high capacity to support ever increasing traffic demands. Many technologies have been developed recently for optical transport networks to increase throughput, improve energy efficiency and simplify network deployment. One of most important problems in modern optical networks is IP traffic transmission. Although optical fibers provide tremendous throughput, the overall network performance is still limited by switching nodes. Currently there are three concepts of optical switching: circuit switching, packet switching and burst switching.

Improving the Quality of Service in Multiservice Networks by Integrating Technologies IP / MPLS and DWDM

IP traffic is growing and seting new tasks for improving the quality of telecommunications services. To resolve this problem in this paper has been proposed IP over OTN over DWDM network architecture, which peculiarity is OTN level that separates the logical and physical topology in IP / MPLS and DWDM networks with MPLS control plane. In the proposed architecture IP / MPLS routers has been connected to multyservice optical transport platforms.

Study of the Load Management Mechanisms in Content Delivery Networks

Concept content delivery network (CDN) system and load balancing mechanisms were considered in this paper. The main task of the CND network — providing the qualitative information delivery to the end user. Content Delivery Network (CDN) — is a geographically distributed network, that contains a number of content servers and routers. As a rule, it consists of a main node (Origin), and caching nodes (Edges) — points of presence, which can be located in various parts of the world. All content are stored and updated on the Origin server.
