THE PHENOMENON OF LIGHT IN SCENOGRAPHIC SOLUTIONS YEVHENA LYSYKA

Scenography is a special kind of fine art and a visual aspect of a theatrical spectacle. Its task is to form the space of the stage with the help of plastic, painting and light-colour effects, which are inextricably linked with each other and theatrical action. In a theatrical performance, it is a way to immerse the spectator in something special - the atmosphere conceived by the director, created by the theatrical artist, director of light and actors.

Contemplating the works of monumental art that surround us in everyday life, you always see the numerous sculptural decorations of Lviv houses, carefully look at the wall paintings of temples, catch the glare of coloured stained glass windows. And the city itself, which has not been subjected to crushing destruction, not only has a considerable number of monumental architectural objects but also acts as a large complex representing the philosophy of different historical periods of society's existence. We see all this almost daily.

Abstract: Кінець ХІХ і ХХ-те століття серед усього іншого в архітектурі, дизайні, сценографії ознаменувались унікальною творчістю двох величних митців - Ф. Кізлера, що народився 22 вересня 1890 року в Чернівцях і Є. Лисика, що народився 21 вересня 1930 року в с. Шнирів під Бродами. Їх народження, життя, творча спадщина показала і довела, що епоха Великих митців театру універсального типу, що синтезували в собі архітекторів, живописців, скульпторів, декораторів, лідером серед яких був К. Ф. Шинкель, на них не закінчилася.

PRINCIPLES OF SPACE PERCEPTION IN NATURE, THEATRICAL SCENOGRAPHY AND ARCHITECTURE

The article focuses on determining particular characteristic patterns of organization and human perception of space, regardless of whether it is anthropogenic, natural, closed or open, or whether it exists literally, or it is depicted on a canvas of theater curtains, or either conveyed through imaginative thinking of an artist. Understanding particular universal patterns of world and space perception ensure the possibility to use them as core principles for various techniques to be implemented by humans in modeling their own space.
