Consumer Value Content of the Service Proposal for the Use of Freight Wagons

Railway transport provides services to customers of both the consumer and industrial markets. Freight transportation is a complex service, an important part of which is the provision of a freight car for use.
The category of consumer value (hereinafter - SC) of a service is considered in four contexts: the provider’s offer of a certain SC (we consider its content in this work), the client’s expectations regarding the SC, a specific option for providing the service and the client’s perception of such provision.

Features of Grid Modelling of Import Processes: Business and Innovative Approaches, Staffing Support and Logistics Mechanisms

In today’s environment of globalisation and integration of world markets, effective management of import processes is critical for both government agencies and individual enterprises. The article discusses graphical methods that can be used to describe and analyse import processes with a view to their further optimisation. Particular attention is paid to grid modelling as an effective method of visualisation and management of import processes. A literature review is carried out and the effectiveness of using grid models in logistics processes is proved.

Survey of driver's functional state change, considering movement through mountain passes

According to traffic accident statistics, the main causes are violations of traffic rules. Based on scientific research, it is clear that the main reason for these events is the drivers' incorrect assessment of the road situation and their inadequate response. Assessing road conditions depends on drivers' qualifications, skills, work experience, reaction time, and other physiological factors. The functional state of drivers is important to consider. It reflects their ability to work reliably and affects both fatigue levels and how fatigue builds up.

Application of algorithmic models of machine learning to the freight transportation process

The results of the analysis of algorithmic models of machine learning application to the freight transportation process are given in this paper. Analysis of existing research allowed discovering a range of advantages in the application of computational intelligence in logistic systems, including increasing the accuracy of forecasting, reduction of transport costs, increasing the efficiency of cargo delivery, risks reduction, and search for key performance factors. In the research process, the main directions of application of algorithmic models of machine learning were determined.

Methodical Approaches to Determining the Priority Directions of Transportation of Railway Rolling Stock Operators in the Field of Freight

In recent years decrease in volumes for all types, except imports by types of freight transporta- tion by the railways of Ukraine. The article is devoted to the problem of ensuring mutually beneficial cooperation between cargo owners and freight carriers in the  field of railway transportation in Ukraine. The purpose of the article is to determine the priorities in the area of servicing freight owners by Ukrainian railways to ensure the validity of relevant management decisions by the railway rolling stock operators.
