The article considers the peculiarities of business functioning in the conditions of
the legal regime of martial law in Ukraine. It has been suggested that when improving the system of
economic security, it should focus special attention on strategically important areas.
Ensuring sustainable development is possible only based on correlating the enterprise's
strategic goals with the development trends of one or another industry.
Implementing the principles and methods of anti-crisis management into enterprise
management, aimed at ensuring their stability and independence through continuous prevention or
overcoming of crisis phenomena. Harmonization of economic security goals of business entities and
national security goals based on international experience. Improving information security (ensuring
technological independence, updating data processing and storage systems, ensuring information
protection from unauthorized access, and reputation and brand management in cyberspace.
Implementation of principles of social responsibility, which would take into account not only ensuring
the economic efficiency of their main activity but also and took into account such social aspects as
preservation and development of personnel potential, support of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, and
territorial defense, provision of financial and humanitarian aid.
The enterprise’s economic security level is often impossible to ensure independently (“by the
forces of business”); an unprecedented role, in this case, is given to the state in the form of legislative,
executive and judicial powers.
It was proposed to form a modern model (paradigm) of legal regulation of economic security,
which would contain constitutional guarantees of economic security enshrined in the Basic Law,
legislative and regulatory acts that regulate economic activity and ensure the implementation of the
principles of economic security, including such as competition, investment, innovation, support of
small and medium-sized businesses.
The autonomous vector is the improvement of the criteria for assessing risks and threats to the
economic security of the state, the development of ways to minimize them, and the central body of the
executive power - the Bureau of Economic Security of Ukraine.
