The article summarizes scientific views on the concept of administrative and legal guarantees of volunteer activity of religious organizations in Ukraine, identifies the problems of formation and implementation of these guarantees. The goal of administrative and legal support of volunteer activity in Ukraine is outlined, which is manifested in: creation of appropriate conditions for the functioning of volunteer activity; development of the appropriate legal framework; control and supervision of compliance by volunteers, volunteer organizations and organizations and institutions that involve volunteers in their activities, legislation and prosecution of the guilty.
It is concluded that the volunteer movement is an important component. civil society and the main driving force of state reform. However, in Ukraine, the legislative framework that regulates volunteer activities is not perfect and needs to be amended to some legislative acts of Ukraine, in particular, regarding issues of national security and defense.
