The article clarifies the influence of the religious factor on the formation of the legal ideology of Ukrainian society in modern realities, which often has an ambiguous and contradictory character in the formation of the newest mechanism for the realization of human and citizen rights and freedoms.

Despite the declared norms in the educational legislation, administrative and legal guarantees of the activity of higher spiritual education institutions as religious organizations continue to be formed.

The task of religious organizations in the field of environmental protection is, first of all, to motivate their adherents to treat the environment responsibly, to educate them in environmental awareness, which is a component of high morality.
