The editorial board of the journal "Computational Problems of Electrical Engineering" (CPEE), published by Lviv Polytechnic National University, follows the guidelines of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) during the selection and publication of articles.
We invite you to submit your research work for potential publication in the journal "COMPUTATIONAL PROBLEMS OF ELECTRICAL ENGINEERING" (CPEE).

General Requirements
Submissions must be original and must not have been previously published or be under consideration for publication elsewhere. Articles should present the results of fundamental theoretical and applied research. Areas of interest include, but are not limited to, the following topics:

Responsibility and Plagiarism
Authors bear full responsibility for the content of published materials. Submitted manuscripts are screened for plagiarism using licensed UniCheck software. Please include a Statement of Originality with your submission.

Authors from Ukraine must additionally provide an Expert Act (internal clearance) and the manuscript text in Ukrainian (2 copies).
Review Process
Following peer review, a copy of the review with comments will be sent to the author. The revised version must be returned to the editor no later than 15 days after receiving the review. Otherwise, the editorial board reserves the right to reject the article or postpone its publication.
Article Structure and Standards
Since 2013, the journal has been included in the List of Professional Publications of Ukraine. Therefore, all articles must be structured according to the requirements set out in the Decree of the Presidium of the Higher Attestation Commission (HAC) of Ukraine No. 7-05/1. To ensure high scientific standards and future indexing in the Scopus database, submitted articles must contain the following mandatory elements:

Problem Statement: General definition of the problem and its connection with important scientific or practical tasks.

Analysis of Recent Research and Publications: Review of sources the author relies upon; identification of previously unresolved aspects of the problem addressed in the article.

Formulation of Objectives: Definition of the specific task/goal of the work.
-
Presentation of the Research: Full justification of the obtained scientific results.
-
Conclusions: Results of the study and prospects for further research in this field.
Language and Formatting

Articles must match the journal’s profile and be written in English.
-
Authors are required to provide their ORCID identifiers.
-
Illustrations may be in color or black and white.
-
Disclosure of funding sources is optional.

Abstract: The final abstract must be provided in Ukrainian. If the author is not proficient in Ukrainian, the editorial board will translate the abstract from English.
References and Transliteration
Special attention should be paid to references in Ukrainian or Russian. Data should be presented as follows: Author names (transliteration), Translated title of the article (English), Source title (transliteration), Publication data, and Language indication (in parentheses).
Transliteration must follow the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine No. 55 (Jan 27, 2010).
Author Information
Please provide a brief biography including your educational background, institution, and research interests, along with a high-quality color photograph.
Note: Articles that do not meet these requirements will be rejected without review and returned to the authors for revision.
Fees and Copyright

No Publication Fees: We do not charge authors any fees for publication.

Copyright: By submitting a manuscript, authors agree that all copyrights for the materials will be transferred exclusively to the publisher (Lviv Polytechnic National University, Ukraine) upon acceptance.

Licensing: After publication, the publisher transfers copyright under the Creative Commons Attribution Non-Commercial (CC BY-NC) License, which allows unrestricted non-commercial use, distribution, and reproduction in any medium, provided the original work is properly cited.
Author Duties and Ethics

Originality: Authors must ensure the work is entirely original. Proper citations/quotes must be used for any borrowed words or results.

Multiple Submissions: Submitting the same manuscript to more than one journal is considered unethical and unacceptable.

Authorship: Authorship is limited to those who made a significant contribution to the results. The corresponding author must ensure all co-authors have approved the final version.

Review Participation: Authors are obliged to participate in the peer-review process and improve the article according to reviewers' comments. In case of disagreement, a reasoned response must be provided.

Accuracy: Data must be presented without errors. Financial support must be acknowledged.

Conflicts of Interest: Authors must disclose any conflicts of interest and publish corrections if conflicts are identified post-publication.

Ethical Conduct: Unfair or deliberately inaccurate statements are unacceptable. The editorial board reserves the right to remove an article if ethical violations or rights infringements are discovered.
AI Usage Policy
Authors may use Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools to support certain aspects of manuscript preparation, such as language editing or idea development. However, authors remain fully responsible for the content, accuracy, and integrity of their work.

Permitted Use: Language editing (e.g., Grammarly, DeepL, ChatGPT for grammar/style) and assistance with structuring or outlining.

Prohibited Use: Generating a full manuscript without substantial human intervention, or falsifying data/references.

Disclosure Requirement: Any use of AI tools must be clearly disclosed in the acknowledgments or a footnote (e.g., "ChatGPT was used to support language editing"). Failure to disclose may be considered a breach of publication ethics.
Retraction Policy
The journal may initiate a retraction in cases of significant ethical violations (plagiarism, data falsification, duplicate publication).

The retracted article will remain in the archive but will be clearly marked as RETRACTED with an accompanying explanation.
This policy complies with international standards, including the recommendations of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).
