Some Characteristics of Air Distribution at Application of Linear Crevice Diffuser

The organization of air distribution is one of the key aspects of creating a comfortable and healthy indoor climate. The effectiveness of this process affects not only temperature and humidity, but also overall air quality, which directly impacts people's well-being. To ensure optimal air distribution, a variety of ventilation devices are used, including grilles and diffusers, which differ in design and technical characteristics. Recently, louvered linear diffusers have gained considerable popularity, combining high functionality with modern design.

Improvement of Energy Efficiency of Air Distribution in a Room Using Swirled Air Jets

This article investigates the aerodynamic behavior and efficiency of swirled air jets used in modern ventilation systems. The influence of rotational motion on turbulence intensity, mixing efficiency, and air distribution uniformity is assessed. Results confirm that swirled jets enhance air mixing and reduce axial velocity and temperature gradients more effectively than traditional non-swirled jets. Key dimensionless parameters, such as velocity and temperature attenuation coefficients, are introduced to simplify calculations.

IMPROVEMENT OF AIR DISTRIBUTION IN A ROOM WITH SWIRLED AIR JETS

The study examines the velocity decay processes in an isothermal free swirled air jet to improve methods for controlling the aerodynamic characteristics of air flows. The objective is to intensify the velocity decay in the supply air of an isothermal free swirling jet, determine the decay coefficient, and analyze axial velocities by constructing their profiles in cross-sections. To simplify calculations, the velocity decay coefficient “m” is introduced.

METHOD OF THE BOILER ROOM VENTILATION SYSTEM EFFICIENCY EXPERIMENTAL DETERMINATION

The issue of the normative air exchange ensuring in the premises of the boiler houses is extremely important. The article presents the results of theoretical and experimental studies of air velocity determination in the distribution of air by round and compact jets in the boiler room. Graphical and analytical dependences are given. The research results substantiate the higher accuracy of the average air flow velocity determination in small boiler rooms.

INVESTIGATION OF THE RETURN FLOW AT THE AIR DISTRIBUTION BY SWIRL AND FLAT LAYING AIR JETS IN SMALL-SIZED PREMISES

In this article the results of return flow at air distribution by flat laying jets experimental investigations are presented. The chart is composed, analytic equations are also obtained. By these results high efficiency of proposed air distribution scheme using in technological small-sized rooms is shown.

MODELING INDOOR AIR FLOWIN THE UNSTEADY MODE

The article is devoted to the decision of actual task of air distribution efficiency increasing with the help of swirl and spread air jets to provide normative parameters of air in the production apartments. It is shown that for reaching of air distribution maximal efficiency it is necessary to supply air by air jets, that intensively extinct before entering into a working area. Simulation of air flow performed with the help of CFD FLUENT (Ansys FLUENT). Сalculations of the equation by using k-εmodel of turbulence are presented.

Air distribution by interaction of counter non coaxial air jets at pulsing mode

Air distribution by interaction of counter non coaxial air jets at pulsing mode has been considered. Dynamic parameters of air flow that is created due to interaction of counter non coaxial flat air jets at their leakage at pulsing mode and creation of dynamic indoor climate in a room has been determined.
