У статті робиться спроба окреслити явище просторової сегрегації у Львові, виділити історичні аспекти цього явища та їх вплив на сучасний стан. Наводиться власна класифікація соціальних груп, які склалися на цей момент у місті, а також окреслюється ступінь їх взаємної ізольованості.
