Вітражне мистецтво виконує особливу мистецьку роль в оздобленні вікон, дверей, стель. Окрім традиційного застосування вітражів їх використовують в оформленні сучасних інтер’єрів. Хоч вітражі не є поширеним дизайнерським рішенням в оформленні інтер’єрів, однак все частіше застосовуються для їх індивідуалізації в сучасному оздобленні інтер’єрів житлових споруд. В процесі дослідження декоративного оздоблення сучасних інтер’єрів із застосуванням вітражів, розглянуто нові техніки та технології їх виконання, композиційне рішення, їх колористичну гаму та виявлено основні особливості художньо-образного виразу. Проаналізовано вітражні композиції та визначено їх роль в сучасному дизайнерському оздобленні інтер’єрів.
