Paper Review Process

The submitted article will be checked in several stages:

  1. First of all, the article will be checked for compliance with formal requirements (formatting, revision of citations and bibliography, structure of the article, etc.). If the requirements are not met, the article is returned to the author for re-reading.
  2. Next, manuscripts are checked for plagiarism, ghosting, and borrowing. If the document is found to be a copy of any previous work, it will be automatically rejected for publication. The originality of the publication should be at least 80%.
  3. The editor-in-chief conducts a preliminary analysis of the topic, relevance, topicality and originality of the article, based on which a decision is made about the feasibility of sending the article for review.
  4. The article, designed according to the requirements - clearly structured, free of plagiarism and borrowings, presents the results of original research - is then sent to two reviewers - experts in the subject field for review without specifying the author of the paper
  5. Reviewers check and analyze the content of manuscripts and provide their expertise. The verification process may take several weeks.
  6. The reviewers send the results of the analysis of the article to the editor-in-chief with a recommendation to accept or reject the article. The review may include recommendations for revisions and improvements to the article. However, this article is potentially recommended for publication. After the authors take into account the recommendations and suggestions of the reviewers, the article can be recommended for publication.
  7. If the reviewers' evaluations conflict with each other, the editor-in-chief sends the article to a third reviewer.
  8. Authors receive electronic versions of relevant reviews by e-mail without indicating the name of the reviewer, observing the principle of anonymity. The notification contains information about the preliminary acceptance or rejection of the article, the reasons for rejection, and terms of the author's finalization.
  9. After the author has made all the necessary changes in accordance with the recommendations and suggestions of the reviewers, the manuscript is sent to the same reviewer for revision.
  10. The editorial board of the journal discusses the results of review and revision of manuscripts by the authors and makes the final decision on the selection of articles for the next issue of the journal.
  11. After the editorial board meeting, authors are notified whether their articles will be included in the next issue or transferred to the next issue if the reviewers' recommendations are partially ignored.
