Complaint Procedure

The journal Computer Systems and Networks considers all complaints related to violations of academic integrity and publication ethics in accordance with the principles of transparency, objectivity, and the recommendations of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).

Submission of a Complaint

A complaint may be submitted by any interested party (author, reviewer, reader, etc.) by contacting the editorial office of the journal.

Review Procedure

  • the complaint is registered by the editorial office;
  • a preliminary assessment of its validity is conducted;
  • if necessary, authors, reviewers, and other relevant parties are involved;
  • the editorial board may consult independent experts;
  • the final decision is made by the Editor-in-Chief or the Editorial Board.

Decisions and Actions

Based on the results of the review, the following decisions may be taken:

  • rejection of the complaint;
  • correction of the publication;
  • retraction of the article;
  • other actions in accordance with COPE recommendations.

Timeframe

The editorial office aims to process complaints within a reasonable timeframe depending on the complexity of the case.

All complaints are handled confidentially.
