General Provisions
The journal Computer Systems and Networks adheres to high standards of publication ethics and follows the guidelines of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE), as well as the principles of World Association of Medical Editors (WAME) and San Francisco Declaration on Research Assessment (DORA).
The editorial board takes all necessary measures to prevent any forms of publication misconduct.
Duties of Authors
Authors are expected to:

- ensure that the manuscript is not under consideration elsewhere;
- properly identify all co-authors and their contributions;

Duties of Reviewers
Reviewers should:
- maintain confidentiality of submitted manuscripts;
- provide objective, constructive, and evidence-based reviews;
- report any suspected ethical violations;
- decline review in case of conflicts of interest;
- adhere to principles of academic integrity.
Duties of Editors
Editors are responsible for:
- making publication decisions based solely on the scientific merit of the manuscript;
- ensuring fairness and objectivity in the peer-review process;
- maintaining confidentiality of all submissions;
- addressing ethical concerns appropriately;
- ensuring compliance with COPE guidelines.
Publication Misconduct
Misconduct includes:
- plagiarism;
- duplicate publication;
- data fabrication or falsification;
- manipulation of the peer-review process;
- improper authorship;
- undisclosed conflicts of interest.
In cases of misconduct, the journal follows COPE guidelines and may take actions including rejection or retraction.
Handling of Complaints and Ethical Issues
The journal considers all complaints in a fair and transparent manner. Investigations may involve authors, reviewers, and independent experts when necessary.
