Experience in constructing and investigating the accuracy of a local spatial trilateration network

In [2], the feasibility of developing spatial trilateration networks for the study of deformations of the earth's surface at geodynamic polygons is theoretically justified. Advantages of the method of constructing geodetic networks over traditional ones are unquestionable, since three coordinates of points or three components of the motion of points on the earth's surface in space are determined simultaneously; all measurements conducted in the network are homogeneous, since they are performed by one kind of measuring instruments, namely electron-optical light-meters, and as a result, the errors in measuring information are homogeneous; There are no problems of reduction in the equalization of such networks, since the latter is performed in three-dimensional space with an arbitrary choice of the coordinate system.
