The model of tectono-sedimentary evolution of the Pre-Carpathians Miocene molasse basins and forming Boryslav-Pokuttya and Sambir frontal nappes of the Carpathian orogen are represented. Boryslav-Pokuttya piggy-back molasse basin developed on top of deeper lying thrust sheet (on meganappe of the flysch) and correspond to co-caled “satellite foreland basins’. Sambir Miocene basin comprises the inner part of the just foreland basins - the Pre-Carpasians Neogene foredeep at the Carpathian front. Forming Boryslav-Pokuttya and Sambir nappes is related to the progradation of the Carpathian accretionary wedge and to overthrusting wedge on the plateform. Our investigations allow to distinguish olisthostrome in tne Miocene Balych formation of the Sambir unit at the foreland of the Boryslav-Pokuttya nappe. Growing the Boryslav-Pokuttya nappe, sliding and slumping the frontal part of this nappe into Balych basin (Sambir unit) caused forming the olisthostrome.
