Aim of work is to investigate the influence of the Precarpathian bend and the Volynian-Podolian upland for the nature of displacement of the Dnister River tributaries and to determine stability of river channels. The object of this research is the Dnister River and its left and right tributaries. Considering the main factors influencing the nature of the horizontal riverbed displacements caused by both natural and anthropogenic factors, special attention is focused on the geological structures in the area on which Dnister River and its tributaries flow. Methods.
Historical aspects of contact zone between two geological megastructures – Easteuropean platform and Centraleuropean geological structure were considered. Structural peculiarities of the zone were analyzed on the base of recent international investigations. The location of the zone on the territory of Western Ukraine was stated.
The comparison of the geology-geophysical models of the crust of the Western Donbass makes it possible to obtain new data about the bottom of the earth crust, to marks out a reduced velocity in the middle earth crust part in joints area of Donbass and the Voronezh massif and data of another features of the lithosphere structure.

The aim of the work is to conduct the complex analysis of seismicity, geology, seismotectonics and difference scale geodynamic processes in the Tereblya-Rika hydro power station (HPS) area in the Ukrainian Transcarpathians (23.35-23.87ºS, 48.23-48.51ºN) to refine estimation of geo-ecological risks. Purpose. Evidently demonstrating of the geological processes and conditions and briefly justify the selection of monitoring, influencing the development of the salt karst and identify the main directions of their research. Methodology.
